We think our family holiday
cottage is one of the nicest
places for visitors to stay in
Mousehole and we hope that you
will too. However, to avoid
disappointment we would like to
draw your attention to a number
of notices we highlight to all
visitors:
1.
The cottage is non-smoking and
does not cater for pets.
2. As it is one of the oldest
cottages in Mousehole, some
doorways and ceilings are low
and the stairs are steeper then
you would find in a modern
house. If you are tall, care
will need to be taken in some
parts of the cottage. Extra care
may also be needed while using
the stairs if, for example, you
are very young or old.
3. Most neighbouring properties are
not holiday cottages and are
occupied all-year-round with many
owners working full-time. We
request that all visitors show consideration to them
with regards to noise levels
late at night.
4. The third bedroom has a
full-size single bed, small
chest of drawers and is
light and airy with a large sea
facing window. Although it is no
smaller than other bedrooms
let in Mousehole, this
bedroom is smaller than the
other bedrooms with little
space for moving around and
storing bags.
5.
Although the cottage overlooks a
very attractive private walled
garden, the garden belongs to a
neighbouring property so is not
to be used by visitors to the
cottage.
6.
Although very near to the harbour,
the cottage does not overlook
the harbour but does have
partial views of the sea and
harbour from the master and
third bedrooms.
7. No car parking is provided
but parking is available in
either of the harbour car parks
(at a cost of approximately £2
per day) or there is limited
parking available on the
approaches to Mousehole from
Newlyn, Paul or Lamorna. Also
note, parking on the quay during
periods of rough sea is not
advisable as cars can be
damaged.
